PRIVACY POLICY
Glowinex respects your privacy and aims to explain clearly how personal information is collected, used, shared and protected when you use our online store.
This Privacy Policy applies when you visit Glowinex.com, create or use an account, place or manage an order, contact us, submit a form, interact with our customer support or otherwise use Glowinex services.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy limits any privacy or data-protection right available to you under applicable law.
1. WHO WE ARE AND HOW SHOPIFY IS USED
Glowinex is operated by Horváth Balázs Patrik e.v., established in Hungary.
The sole proprietor identified above, trading as Glowinex, is the data controller for personal information processed in connection with the operation of the Glowinex store and business, except where Shopify or another service provider acts as an independent controller for its own processing activities.
Our online store uses Shopify as its ecommerce platform. Shopify provides core services including store hosting, checkout, account functionality, security, order infrastructure and related ecommerce services.
As a result, Shopify may receive and process personal information when you browse the Glowinex store, create an account, use checkout or interact with Shopify-powered services.
For more information about Shopify’s own processing practices, customers may review the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify Privacy Portal.
Official information about Glowinex and the legal operator is available in the Glowinex Legal Notice

The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with Glowinex.
We may collect:
Contact and account information, including your name, email address, telephone number, account information and communication preferences.
Order and delivery information, including your billing and delivery address, order number, purchased products, delivery instructions, order status, tracking information, returns, cancellations and refunds.
Payment and transaction information, including payment status, transaction details and the payment method used.
Complete payment-card numbers are generally processed directly by Shopify, payment processors, banks or other authorised financial institutions. Glowinex generally does not receive or store complete payment-card details.
Customer service and communication information, including emails, support messages, return or withdrawal requests, complaints, reviews, photographs or other information that you voluntarily provide to us.
Device and usage information, which may include your IP address, browser type, device information, approximate location, cookie identifiers, pages viewed and interactions with the Glowinex store.
Security and fraud-prevention information, including information used to detect suspicious transactions, unauthorised activity, abuse or other security risks.
We may receive information:
- directly from you;
- automatically when you use our website;
- from Shopify and payment providers;
- from suppliers, fulfillment partners, warehouses and delivery providers;
- from customer-support, review, analytics, advertising or technology providers where used;

3. HOW AND WHY WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION
Glowinex may process personal information for the following purposes:
Performance of a contract to accept and manage orders, process payments, arrange fulfillment and delivery, provide tracking information, manage customer accounts and handle cancellations, withdrawals, returns and refunds.
Legal obligations to comply with tax, accounting, consumer-protection, product-safety, fraud-prevention and other legal requirements.
Legitimate interests to operate and secure the store, prevent fraud and abuse, provide customer support, improve our services, maintain appropriate business records and establish, exercise or defend legal claims, provided that these interests do not override your rights.
Consent where required for activities such as non-essential cookies, personalised advertising, certain analytics or promotional communications.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
We may use automated systems for fraud prevention, security, analytics and product recommendations.
Glowinex does not normally make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects for customers.
4. COOKIES, ADVERTISING AND SHOPIFY SERVICES
Glowinex and our technology providers may use cookies and similar technologies.
Essential cookies may be used where necessary for functions such as:
- shopping carts;
- checkout;
- account access;
- fraud prevention;

- payment and order functionality.
Where required by applicable law, non-essential analytics, personalisation and advertising technologies are used only after the required consent has been obtained.
You can review or change applicable cookie choices through the Cookie Preferences control available on the Glowinex store.
Shopify may also process information generated through your interactions with the Glowinex store.
Where Shopify Network Intelligence or other Shopify Enhanced Services are enabled, Shopify may securely use information from interactions with Glowinex, Shopify and other Shopify-powered stores to provide services such as fraud prevention, analytics, personalisation, store performance or advertising-related features.
Other Shopify merchants do not receive direct access to Glowinex customer information through Shopify Network Intelligence.
For some processing activities, Shopify may act as an independent data controller and its own privacy terms will apply.
Glowinex does not sell personal information in exchange for money.
However, certain advertising-related disclosures or technologies may legally be considered a “sale”, “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under privacy laws in some U.S. jurisdictions.
Where applicable, customers can exercise the relevant opt-out right through our Glowinex Your Privacy Choices page.
